There is no way to secure the horizontal pin that holds the oar in place between the horns. Guess I'll have to file it or drill it. Definitely the right price, though. Otherwise, it seems to be fine.

To loocrew: You should drill a hole in the oar, then put the pin through and flatten the end so it stays in place. This allows the oar to move freely up and down while rowing.

The oars were too round for the top bar so I used plastic cables to hold them in. The U works wonderfully and my husband says they work like a charm. Cost is reasonable and they are great for the job.
