E-Series battery switches allow users to switch between battery banks without power interruption. They are ideal for marine and RV applications because they are ignition protected, and made from non-corrosive marine grade metals.
These switches may be surface or rear panel mounted to provide a wide array of mounting locations. E-Series switches allow users to switch between two battery banks simultaneously with one simple ON/OFF switch while maintaining battery bank isolation, minimizing the risk of a dead starting battery.
The BOTH function offers the ability to combine the two battery banks in parallel, in the event of a cold start that may require higher cranking amps.

Questions & Answers about Blue Sea Systems E-Series Dual Circuit Plus Battery Switch:
2011-11-14DAVID ROBERTSON asked: I have a 36 volt trolling system and 12 volt battery to crank engine. I desire to isolate the 12 volt from any draining off of current cauing it to not function and strand me, and would kind of like to be able to throw power from the trolling motor batteries (three) into the cranking circuit.
Asking to much???

2012-01-04JOHN WEHLE: The concept is great, but connecting 36 volts to your 12 volt cranking circuit is not a good idea. If you can keep it to 12 volts, using just one of your trolling motor batteries your starter motor would be a whole lot better off.
2011-11-12A shopper asked: how do you wire theswich witrha an electronic relay?

2011-11-22HENRY LANFORD: This is simply a switch which simultaneously turns on/off two different circuits, with the additional capacity to parallel the two. I don't understand the question, but if it refers to a relay which serves to automatically parallel the batteries for charging, this could I suppose be either before or after thus switch. I guess after, so this switch allows one to safely turn everything off.
