Convert your Walker Bay dinghy into a rigid inflatable! Walker Bay Retrofit Tube Kits turn your 8 or 10 foot Walker Boat into a rigged hull inflatable, giving you the flotation of an inflatable with the open cockpit space of a rigid hull dingy.
With the addition of a Tube kit, the boats horsepower rating doubles, allowing a 4 hp on the 8 ft boat and 6 hp on the 10 ft boat.
These tube kits greatly improve safety and stability but still maintain excellent rowing performance with the 4 chamber Variable Profile Design (VPD) tubes. Tubes also act as a Fender with a protective rub rail when alongside other boats or docking. Walker Bay uses Halkey-Robert valves for inflation and are constructed of rugged 1100 Decitex fabric tube with Maxibond reinforced seems that have four over-sized handles for convenient transporting.

The addition of this inflatable tube makes the dinghy a safe and smart way to save a man overboard. It is low enough to roll into from the water. We attached the dinghy to the boat with Weaver davits made specifically for this dinghy with the inflation tube attached. We can drop the dinghy into the water, leave it attached to the davits and have an instant rescue platform. Good stuff.
