2013-02-18CHARLES MAZZOLA: I used it for venting only to the face of the motor well so the bilge could breath I did not hook a hose to it I don't think that is what this part is intended for
2013-02-18KEN RUSSELL: I used louvre vent for ventilation of storage cabinet. If I had to get creative I would search for PVC pipe sleeve to extend it through the face plate giving it enough of a shaft and improvise the attachment to a vent hose.
