Permatex High Performance Thread Sealant is industrial grade, specifically designed for metal and tapered pipe thread fittings. Replaces Teflon tape or pipe dopes. Cures rapidly to withstand 10,000 PSI and to prevent galling and protect mated thread areas from rust and corrosion.
Temperature range from -65F to 300F. Contains PTFE. For applications requiring higher temperature resistance, use Permatex High Temperature Thread Sealant. For applications requiring gasoline fuel resistance, try Form-A-Gasket No. 3.
