The LCX-28C Sonar/GPS device from Lowrance features a large 7 inch HD (high definition) VGA SolarMax Sunlight viewable TFT display. It combines 1000 watts of sonar technology with GPS/Chartplotter capability for an all in one package.
The dual frequency (50/200kHz) sonar is capable of marking anything below the water's surface, and the large display allows the user to easily distinguish between objects. A depth rating of 3000 feet, 37 different zoom ranges, and ASP (advanced signal processing) ensure that readings are true and clear.
The Lowrance LCX-28C Sonar/GPS device also features a built-in 30GB hard drive that is preloaded with an extensive map inventory. It comes preloaded with Lowrance's MapCreate USA version 7.0 for topographic detail, Fishing Hot Spots Pro for Inland Lakes coverage and Lowrance's NauticPath software card for Coastal and Great Lakes coverage. The LCX 28C HD also comes with a 12-channel WAAS receiver/antenna for accuracies up to 10 feet.
There is enough on board memory for boaters to store 1,000 waypoints, event markers, routes, and 100 savable plot trails.
