TotalBoat Danish Teak Sealer

TotalBoat Danish Teak Sealer penetrates, seals and preserves both hard and soft woods. Protect wood against the elements with this easy-to-use single part coating.

Danish Teak Sealer contains unique anti-fungal biocides that prevent the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew over the course of the wood's natural life. It minimizes graying and staining brought on by extended exposure to UV rays, salt, and humidity.

Two coats will restore and seal the natural beauty of the wood, providing water repelling properties without becoming slippery underfoot.

Available in quarts and gallons.

Free quick-start kit included: (2ea) paint pots, (2ea) stir sticks, (2ea) 2" foam brushes, (1pr) latex gloves. A $10 value!

Comments about TotalBoat Danish Teak Sealer:

I used the Total Boat Danish Teak sealer on both an old teak folding cockpit table and a new bench that we have in our cockpit. The old table had been treated with teak oil over time and looked scruffy. The new bench had been oiled by the manufacturer, but not well done. I lightly sanded both to smooth the surface and open the grain.
The Danish Teak sealer wiped on easily and soaked in. After a couple hours I wiped the surface but little rubbed off. After the first coat both looked so good I almost didn't apply the second, but it was worth it. The result was a smooth non-oily finish with a light sheen. The sealer created a natural warm look and is smooth to the touch.
I hope the finish will last as the bench sits exposed to sun and elements in the cockpit, but so far it looks great.

Comments about TotalBoat Danish Teak Sealer:

The liquid sealer went on very easily, and a small quart can did our whole patio set, with enough left over for next year.

Comments about TotalBoat Danish Teak Sealer:

Used this product on outdoor benches that I restored with teak lumber a couple years ago. I applied the finish after cleaning with Semco Teak Cleaner (good stuff!!). I used two coats but honestly did not really need to as the second coat was nearly all wiped off - very little absorption.

1 qt goes a long way if you prepare the wood and let it dry well before applying the finish. Wipe it down (really well) after 30 minutes or so and buff it out if you like a satin sheen after 24 hrs. Does not seem slippery at all so no worries for boat use.

Super Easy to use. The biggest challenge is cleaning and prepping the decks for the Sealer before.

My decks looked great this Summer. Good durability.
