Collinite 845 Insulator wax is the user friendly liquid version of 476S paste wax. Originally designed for electric power companies to protect against high voltage power failures, Insulator wax provides high gloss protection on cars, trucks, boats, and airplanes. This clear coat-safe product is famous for its versatility, durability, and ease of use.
Use 845 for that carnauba shine while protecting finishes from UV rays, rain, snow, salt, dust, dirt, grime, bugs and more. It's easy to apply and doesn't require serious buffing for serious shine.
Insulator Wax Instructions
Shake bottle well before use. Surfaces should feel lukewarm to the touch. Avoid applying in direct sunlight. Apply a thin, even amount to clean, dry surfaces. Work in areas no larger than 2 ft by 2 ft. Use an applicator pad for best results. When wax begins to dry to a haze, use a dry microfiber or cotton towel to remove.

Extremely easy to apply and buff off - so easy that hand-application and buffing worked better than machining. Follow the directions - apply a THIN amount and wait only for the wax to BEGIN to haze then buff. If you allow the wax to dry too much, just re-apply and then buff off. Use with 3M Imperial Compound and Finishing Material to create a perfect surface for the wax. In 10+ years of prepping my boat for a season, I've never had so many folks in the yard ask what I used to prep the hull.

This is the best wax I have ever used. Unreal shine and will last 6 months or more. Even after several car wash runs the wax still holds up with a great bead.

Started using this wax on Substation insulator 15 years ago. Use on my boat and all vehicles. Will last a full season when applied to a clean surface.
