Cowl vents are installed on decks to force fresh air down below to your boat's cabin or interior. Perko cowl ventilator 0870 is designed to mate with 3 inch ventilation hoses. It features a flexible hose flange that is fastened to the hose. The vent is then snapped onto the flange to complete installation.
Chrome plated zinc alloy vent with black plastic base. Opening measures 7-1/3 inches.

Finaly found what I was looking for

These replace some that were made of plastic back in the 70's. Given that these are mostly Stainless Steel they should last the life of the boat.
