Fireboy CG2 marine fire extinguishers protect boats with engine rooms up to 1,000 cubic feet. The CG2 is a total flooding system that stays on board and on guard 24 hours a day. Each extinguisher automatically discharges when temperatures reach 175 degrees F.
Each system includes stainless steel mounting brackets, 2" round system status indicator light, owner's manual, and installation instructions. CG2 extinguishers feature 3 year warranties and are approved for use by the USCG, Factory Mutual, and Bureau Veritas.
Multiple capacities available.

I am using this inside of an enclosed metal cabinet. I have a contract to create prototypes with my 3d printer. With the extinguisher in the cabinet I can sleep and print overnight. Fire from the printer is unlikely, but should it happen, it will not be burning long.

Got what I needed. Easy to install as a replacement to old empty original in 2002 Chapparrel boat. These are made by order so it takes over a week to get. I had a previous boat go up in flames. I installed this on my new Bayliner 175, Mercruiser I/O 3.0 liter 4 cylinders engine compartment. Easy to mount and wire up the instrument panel indicator lamp, took about 1 hour. I have had one engine fire 48 years ago and since then every boat gets an auto fire extinguisher, it's cheap insurance.
