It states in the notes on the JD site: "4 to 8oz per quart". Totally not true. It states on the can for flattening a color to a satin or low gloss..... 3 to 1 ratio. This ratio can very depending on what you are looking for. That's 3 qts of agent to 1 qt. Paint. That a huge difference in calculating how much material you will need, not to mention the cost.

I used a 50/50 mixture to get the sheen i wanted.

Works fine, however it is way too costly. It contains no pigment, titanium oxides. I suspect the "flattening agent" is a powder element that presents degrees of coarseness. As Interlux only offer's semi gloss in white, that semi gloss in other colors requires the purchase of additional "flatter", it should be at a considerable reduced cost over that of Brightside.
