We are a trailer manufacturer and use them on our trailers. Just wish they offered the product without the screen and trim ring. We don't use them and they go in the trash every order.

Looks great on my 1989 Sanibel 18. The screw holes did not match (as expected) with the old one but that was a easy fix.

Fit right in the slot of the broken original

Pretty much what I expected. It is a bit lighter than the Bomar hatch that I replaced, but that came off my 1989 boat. Metal compared to plastic frame. Satisfied anyways.

live in s.e. florida, cross over to the bahamas frequently, and long offshore trips! never had a problem in rough seas with 900 hatch, hitting 4-6 and6-8 foot seas, this being a 26 foot cobia w/a cuddy!!! twin yams 200's a great product!!!

I purchased this hatch because it exactly fitted the cut out in my Cobia cuddy cruiser. Replacement was straightforward and this hatch was substantially better made than the broken one that I was replacing. I liked the smooth low profile lines and easy access to screw holes all the way around. It is not meant to be stepped on but my hatch is 16.5 x 16.5 and would probably be OK if stepped on occassionally. Not cheap but good value for money

I bought this model because it fit the cut out in our coachroof best. I did not realize how light weight it is. I think if you stepped on it you would go right through. Fortunately it is mounted on the cabin top, not on the bow, where it will be subject to less stepping and any wave action. I would not recommend this product for any serious off-shore use.
