It was better than expected and very bendable to fit my boat's mechanics. Suitable for the icy, turbulent waters of Lake Superior.

The old hose was installed on my boat for over 18 years so I naturally sought the very same product - found it at JD for the lowest price - very happy.

This exhaust hose had the bend radius I needed to get the job done without kinking.

I replaced the existing wet exhaust hose on my Westerbeke 27 with this product. It installed very easily. The bend radius is excellent - no kink problems. I haven't launched the boat yet, so I can't comment on reliability or durability. I expect it will last as well as other similar products.

I used the Shields SHIELDSAUST-C Exhaust Hose to replace the exhaust hoses on my westerbeke boat generator. The product appears to be made very well and was easy to install. After shopping around I found it MUCH less expensive (about $4 a foot) to purchase from JTD [...] then to buy locally.
