Reviews for Kevlar Tape 2 inches wide
I used this along with West System epoxy to fix and strengthen broken corners on an in-deck fishbox, and to reinforce some rotted wood in an on-deck tackle center. It worked well, EXCEPT - The color is bright yellow, so it stands out brightly unless you somehow cover it with Gelcoat or another pigmented product. Additionally, it frays and unravels like crazy. This leaves little hairs and strings everywhere in the epoxy and made quite a mess. The more I brushed on the epoxy (during the initial wetting-out) the more it unraveled. Cut it precisely and trim off those little strings with SHARP scissors before starting. Otherwise worked well, recommended.

I HAVE A SHOW DOG WITH HYGROMAS ON EACH ELBOW (A BUILD UP OF FLUID). AFTER SURGICALLY HAVING DRAINS INTSALLED IN THE ELBOWS, THEY MUST REMAIN WRAPPED FOR TWO TO THREE DAY INTERVALS FOR UP TO TWO WEEKS. VET WRAP, 10 MIL TAPE, PHASE TAPE, SURGICAL TAPE, ALL REMOVED QUITE QUICKLY BY THE DOG. KEVLAR TAPE, NOT A PROBLEM, THE BANDAGE STAYES ON SECURELY. THE STUFF IS ALMOST (DOG) INDESTRUCTIBLE. THANKS, JEANIE NEW RIVER ELECTRIC, INC. NEW RIVER GREAT DANES
