Suddenly had a dripping hydraulic fluid leak at my helm. Decided to tackle it myself. Instructions weren't the easiest but after studying what I took apart the directions became clearer. Everything I needed was in the kit. Worked the first time I put it together. Highly recommend.

Reviews suggested I could do this repair.I was skeptical but thought I'd try.I ended up putting all the parts in a box and sending it to a repair facility in Franklin,NC.I was afraid of putting the helm into the boat.As it worked out I was able to get it installed and bled. The helm seems to work okay.I'd not recommend this repair to anyone but a professional.Take the helm out;send it away for rebuild;and, then install and bleed it yourself.

Great kit with great instructions. Resealing the unit beats paying over $500 for a new pump!!

This kit comes with instructions that are very easy to follow as well as instructions to bleed to air from the system once you are finished. Also, what Holiday are you referring to at the top of you main page with the wreath. Because I do believe that the ONLY Holiday that wreath is used for is Christmas. Same with the "Holiday Gifts" tab at the top. I do believe Christmas is the Holiday that gifts are given. So why not just say "Merry Christmas" and "Christmas Gifts" and not be so politically correct about this time of year? Will have to look elsewhere to shop now. :(
