what size of drill bit and tap would I use to accommodate this set screw?

Tap - 1/4-28 UNF Tap Drill is #3 which is .213" If you don't have a number drill set you can use 7/32 which is .218. It tapping stainless be sure to use a good tapping lube.

What we have found for the best fit is a #3 drill bit and a 1/4"-28 tap. Hope this helps.
