#18 Stainless steel flat head slotted wood screws. Wood screws have coarse and deep threads to better anchor into wood. While these new screws are correct in diameter and length the shank lengths are short and the head flanges are not nearly as crisp as the 30 year old screws they need to match. No complaints about the threads but the aesthetics leave a bit to be desired.
