Perfectly done

Great product, shipped quickly, professionally packed. The Copper Tacks themselves are beautifully done. Smooth, equal in size, like the English soldiers of the time of King George. Nice to the eye.

Just as described, in stock and sold by the pound, rather than in a blister pack of 50. Thank you!

Great Product!

I'm not much of a writer and I don't build boats. I ordered these copper nails for use on some architectural birdhouses that I am making as gifts. I finish the roofs with a copper strip that's nailed on each side and while I do have to drill through the copper first (these nails are "copper soft"), the pointed tip of the nails easily seats the nail so it can be driven in the rest of the way. I'd also like to express my gratitude to this company for such an easy transaction and for selling these nails in a useable quantity. I'll definitely come back for more materials as my projects evolve.

Exactly what I wanted, shipped right on time. AOK!

Archival picture framing includes stretching canvases in a traditional manner with real copper nails or tacks. It is hard to find copper tacks this size in decent quantities at most hardware stores. For clients who want the best, copper is the only way to go.

Good Quality Fasteners

Good solution for assembling wired bee hive frames to resist corrosion, and good anchoring of the wire in the shallow depth of the side bars.

The Real Thing

I use these real copper tacks to stretch my own canvas on stretcher bar frames for fine art painting. Copper does not rust like carpet tacks, and these tacks are easy to start since they are very sharp and they stay put. I used to order them from art supply houses, but they have gone to short copper plated nails that are inferior to real copper tacks. The 3/8's of an inch tack are the perfect size for nailing into standard stretcher bars, without having the points of the nails poking through on the other side. I teach my high school advanced art students how to save money while making their own canvases look professionally made.

Awesome; hard-to-find!

These tacks are copper, not just copper coated. I stretch and prepare all my own canvasses for painting. I use high quality Belgian Linen and good wood stretchers, and it is important to me that the tacks are sturdy, beautiful, very functional. I like that I can get different lengths, and that this shipment came so quickly. Great service!

Real Copper Tacks

I always use copper tacks when constructing my canvases for painting. They don't rust, are easy to start when nailing, and they stay put until you remove them. But, like anything made from copper, they are pricey. Most art suppliers are selling copper coating nails which just work the same.
