3M Scotch 2080 Painter's Tape is a low to medium adhesion flat-back tape removes cleanly from the surface for up to 60 days. This tape is sunlight resistant and is recommended for interior and exterior use.
2080 is ideal for most smooth or delicate surfaces such as: most fresh paints, wallpaper, wood surfaces and wall board. Water-based, solvent based and stain coatings can be applied. Not compatible with lacquer coatings or surfaces.
Comes in 60 yard rolls.

Much thinner than original blue 2080. Harder to get off after left on for a period of time.

Applied it exactly 14 days ago and it was a bear to remove, leaving a nasty residue. It seems to be less substantial (thinner) than the 2080 of years past. Looking for an alternative.

positive was able to remove it with a constant pull it did not break off into small pieces making a small job large.
