My mix didn't harden overnight. Can this be fixed?
Asked on 01/18/2017 by UndisclosedIf it doesn't harden on its own, it will not harden. If it was applied to a surface in a thick layer, it may still harden. Give it another day or so with the temperature up. I have had great success with MAS unless I mix something else in like micro baloons or sawdust.
Answered on 01/18/2017 by THOMAS KOCHNEFFIf you mixed the epoxie in the proper proportions, the mix should harden assuming the temperatures are OK. You can assist the cure if you can warm the part that was epoxied. Epoxie cures faster in warm temperatures.
Answered on 01/18/2017 by WILLIAM MANNIs the repair kit available with the slow hardener ? Here in Florida, the medium is fast!
Asked on 07/10/2018 by Ronald from FloridaUnfortunately this kit only comes with the Medium Hardener. To help combat the temperatures and short working time in FL heat, we would recommend cooling the product before mixing, and trying to keep mixed product in a thinner film prior to applying if at all possible. You can also try and keep the mixed material cool up until the point that you are applying the epoxy.
