Exactly what I needed
By Jillybean from Charleston SC

Purchased a set of oars for my father and got these as well. Both were a big hit. He is hard to buy for and I think he really liked them. Way better than the socks and ties. Shipped and received very quickly

Just the thing!
By CJ from Slidell, LA

Bought these along with Caviness metal oars to replace rotted wooden oars on my duckboat. Just the thing for ease of use and back-up for my 3-hp outboard.

Solid and reliable
By RPS from Albany, New York

Perfect and good quality. Needed for new Grumman aluminum row boat (straight 1/2" oarlocks don't fit)

very functional
By peter from new jersey

Very functional set of round oarlocks, very good quality made in USA, big enough even for my odd sized homemade oars. Some slight oxidation after only a few uses, not rust but a small amount of whitish waxy type of oxidation. Just asthetic but if you want really shiny oarlocks spend the extra bucks and go stainless.

Failed!
By SOF Builder from Cooks, Michigan (UP)

I used these inexpensive Perko oarlocks on my 18' skin-on-frame dory designed by Dave Gentry. Yesterday, one of the oarlocks snapped off just below the collar while we were miles up (thankfully) a local river. We had a long, slow trip home rowing with one oar and paddling with the other. I'll keep the surviving lock for a spare. Today I built a sturdy set of Phil Bolger oarlocks to replace these cheap ones.

Cheap Pot Metal
By Oldbow from Missoula, MT

Bought these cheap Perko oarlocks for my drift boat. One snapped in two while on a lake. If I had been on a Montana river, I would have been in trouble.
