Question

Is there a mounting template? Is there supposed to be a gasket?

Asked on 05/07/2013 by Undisclosed

Top Answer

There is no template. I removed the rocker switch and fuse holder and used the face plate for a template. No gasket was included. If your application called for one you could easily make one. Please note that the fuse is also not included. I hope this helps.

Answer

There is a mounting template, although it is not referenced in any of the instructions. The template is part of the packaging the switch is mounted in the bubble pack. Just need to pay attention to it's orientation since there are no instructions that this is a template. If I recall correctly it is oriented in landscape fashion.

Question

What amperage fuse do you use?

Asked on 07/24/2011 by Undisclosed

Top Answer

I just purchased this switch. It no longer comes with a fuse nor instructions on what type of fuse is compatible, so I'm left not knowing what fuse to purchase to fit it. The fuse rating is determined and specified by the pump manufacture, typically printed on the pump body someplace.

Question

The Rule Model 43 3 way switch does not come with a fuse and the instructions tell you to refer to a non-existent chart. Anyone know what size fuse to use? Mark

That switch doesn't have a fuse, you will want to put an in-line fuse sized to the amps of the pump.

Question

2 part question: Does the light work when the pump works (manual or auto mode)? Can I wire a buzzer to function at the same time?

Asked on 02/14/2012 by Undisclosed

Top Answer

The light comes on when the pump is working (pumping water). I would think you could wire in a buzzer in that lighting circuit.
