TotalBoat Heat Shrink Butt Connectors are the ideal choice when creating a corrosion and moisture-resistant electrical splice in the marine environment. Tinned copper construction maximizes current flow and minimizes corrosion.
A heat-activated adhesive built into the sleeve of the heat shrink tubing forms a water tight seal when heated that protects against any strain or vibration. The seam is brazed to increase the strength of the connector.
Connectors are color coded according to applicable wire size: AWG 26-24 Clear; AWG 24-20 Yellow; AWG 22-18 Red; AWG 16-14 Blue; AWG 12-10 Yellow; and AWG 8.
