Product Details

Scandvik ABA Hose Clamps are made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant Swedish 316 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance. Clamps feature non-perforated bands to prevent breakage, along with rolled up, round band edges to minimize wear and the risk of leaks. Hex head worm screw and vibration-proof six degree thread pitch provides superior clamping and sealing, and allows these clamps to be used over and over. Ideal for marine applications.

All ABA hose clamps are sold individually, and are available in SAE sizes 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, and 72. Clamp band width: Size 4 and 6 are 3/8 in. wide; all others are 1/2 in. wide. Protective vinyl clamp tips are sold separately.

Tech Tip:

All critical hose connections should be double clamped at both ends. For best results and max, mount the hose clamp screws opposite one another for maximum security.

NOTE: These are similar in quality to AWAB stainless steel hose clamps, and are an appropriate substitute.

Should last forever

Completely stainless, even the screw. It will probably tolerate salt water much better than most especially if you want to remove it later. Going to use it on through hull drains.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Excellent quality Hose Clamps

This product line comes in many size ranges. This allows you to install the clamps with minimal tails after they have been tightened. The edges are slightly rolled to prevent biting into the hose. Fit finish and quality control are excellent. I just completed the overhaul of my starboard engine, a 454 chevy with enclosed cooling system. Lots of hoses that I replaced and all new clamps. Every clamp worked flawlessly.

Not sure they will work
By Kip from Poconos, PA

Working on vintage Chris Craft shaft log and trying to replace new flex hose. The Buck Algonquin hose is 5 ply and a 1/4" thick. The old one was 2 ply and 1/8". The shaft log plate has a concave at the bottom of the stub which makes it very difficult to get the 316 clamp to complete retain the hose. Don't want it to leak, but not sure how to solve dilemma. Any suggestions?
