The Arbortech TURBO Shaft attaches to any standard 4'' (100mm) or 4-1/2'' (115mm) grinder with 5/8'' spindle to create a versatile, powerful freehand carving tool that allows finer finishes than power chisels and without the tedious effort of hand tools. Grind hardwoods easily with precise control of the cutting edge. An adjustable depth gauge makes setting the desired cutting depth simple. The carbide teeth on its 20mm diameter blade are tough and long-lasting but are easy to rotate or replace once you wear them out. The TURBO Shaft is ideal for deep and narrow profiles, detailed sculpting, lettering, template work and more. Design lets you access deep, narrow, recessed, and otherwise hard-to-reach places.
Includes (1) TURBO Shaft, (1) depth gauge, Allen key, and Torx™ key.
Control: Use with guides and template for accuracy. The clever depth gauge collar helps control cutting depth when needed, and acts as a guide for achieving different profiles.
Safety: With SafeBlade technology, the minimal side-exposure of the cutters results in excellent control and safe freehand use without kick back.
Detail Carving: Out of the TURBO Range, the TURBO Shaft is the best option for achieving detailed narrow, deep carving and sculpting due to its compact and narrow design.
Performance: The TURBO Shaft is fitted with replaceable carbide teeth for excellent performance and durability even with the hardest timbers. Rotate the carbide teeth to extend the cutting life even further.
Versatility: Ideal for signs, text, fluted columns, decorative effects, detailed sculpting, creating recesses, and template work. Adjustable depth gauge makes it easy to set different cutting depths.

I am sure it is a whizbang carving assessory that I will love. Right now is a whizbang paperweight until I receive a spindle adapter. It does not fit the 10x1.25 spindle of my Mikita grinder as implied in the product information. It is made with a 5/8 -11 and is only "suitable", as they state, if you use an adapter which, as far as I can find, they don't sell or even mention that it is needed. I am in the middle of project and was really looking forward to using it. If I am in error, let me know.
