Notes on Tinting UV Cure Clear Resin
- A little tint goes a long way. Adding too much tint may require a longer cure time, or the resin may remain tacky if the colorant is too concentrated.
- Only add as much colorant as needed to achieve the desired color.
- We recommend performing a small test with any colorants to make sure you get the desired results.

I bought the UV cure resin to do more than casting. I used it as a glue to bond two pieces of clear acrylic sheet to each other. Both as a butt joint and overlay. It felt like it cured instantly with the UV light but we all know better. Since it was such a thin amount I didn't need the full 2 minutes. I also used it as tinted crack filling on some of my river pours, to seal to cylinders together before I filled with Fathom Deep Pour. I keep finding new uses for this little bottle and I like that I can keep repositioning my item before I tack it with the light.

Really wanted to like this product. But each time I used it the top layer would harden but the liquid underneath would stay liquid. I was filling some small holes about an 1/8" deep. I even set the flashlight on pointed at the resin for an hour. Maybe this is user error? If so someone please educate me.

The problem with this product is not the product but with the little flashlight I am sorry to report it is a joke. I had to hang my project in the sun. I am looking for a UV lite that runs off 110volt ac. need to build a UV lite box with a rotary. the flash is no good

I have been using this epoxy to fill small holes in my wooden bowls and other items. It works great, it goes on controlled, cures fast and sands easily. What does not work great is the light they sent with the epoxy. It flickers, the way you hold it effects the brightness of the light, etc... they need to up the quality of the light to match the quality of the epoxy.
