Silicone mats prevent so many glue-up issues. I used to lay out wax paper, but the paper would sometimes buckle under my workpieces when wet with glue and get into the seams without my knowing it. This mat prevents this issue, and I have no cleanup to worry about. The flat side is perfect for small project work or to created flat resin art panels. The textured side is great to keep glue squeeze out from pooling under the work piece.

The silicone mat works as described. I did a resin pour the week I received mine and dripped onto the mat and it does come right off after it's dried. In my opinion it's over priced for no more than it is. I actually think a rubber floor mat would probably do the same but wouldn't have that cool total boat logo on it. And It didn't even come with a sticker.

This is the best silicone mat I have found. It has two sides with different textures for multiple types of projects. It is thick and lays flat. Resin comes right off so clean up is easy. I just need one more for the other side of my table!
