Reviews for Pettit EZ Poxy Aerosol Spray Topside Paint
This is a very high-quality product, all-around. It has an excellent spray-pattern and plenty of solids for a professional finish. I've used this on several small projects and it's great for things like the racing daggerboard from my Sunfish. I gave it a couple of nice heavy coats and then wet sanded it to perfection. The used Mercury 30 that I bought had some serious paint issues on the cowl and after the necessary prep I sprayed with the the EZPoxy in Black. I gave it a nice heavy coat and then came back with the wet-dry and color-sanded the paint and then buffed it to a mirror finish. See my photos. The next project is an old rescue Sunfish hull that I'll spray-bomb.

There is a reason that this product is more money than a can of "ordinary" spray paint and it has to do with quality and endurance. It is formulated for boats in a marine environment and constant UV. The quality of the valve is excellent and the paint covers and hides easily which means that the can goes a long way. It's excellent for touch-ups and smaller items, like the composite Sunfish daggerboard and rudder blade. It's the perfect product for a Sunfish Cockpit restoration. In a world of "fast-drying" aerosol paint this stuff takes a bit longer but the gloss and long-range durability it's well-worth the wait.

I am not a pro but I don't see any difference to compare with a white paint…..
