Epifanes Epoxy HB (high build) Barrier Coat Primer protects your fiberglass gelcoat hull from osmotic blisters. It's also a very effective anti-corrosion primer for steel.
This fast-drying two-part primer lets you build dry film thickness quickly, and it cures to form a watertight barrier, making it perfect for applications above and below the waterline on substrates like fiberglass, steel, wood, and aluminum.
Available in Grey and Black. 750ml.

Q: Is it heat resistant for an engine compartment

A: Epifanes doesn't list maximum heat exposure limits. An engine compartment doesn't get extremely hot. I would expect this to be OK.
