Answer Question

Question

Will these lights mount horizontally on a 2000 Chaparral Sunesta? If not, do you have replacements or replacement lenses?

Asked on 05/09/2013 by Ken LaMorta

Top Answer

Mine are mounted on a vertical surface. I would think you could mount them horizontally also... never looked at them for that purpose though.

mr ken i sure wish that i could help you, but i am unable to do so. i purchased my perko side mount lenses for my maverick HPX, but have since switched to another light assembly because i did not like the original location of the mounts as installed by the mfg.....good luck capt chuck

Answer

Sorry for the late response. These should be mounted horizontally on the 2000 Sunesta. They were the exact replacement. They sell the lenses separately also.

Answer Question

Question

Is there an easier way of replacing the bulb rather than removing the complete assembly?

Asked on 09/08/2013 by Joe Brockman

Top Answer

No there is not To get access to the bulb, you need to remove all three screws from the bezel, and then you can lift the metal cover off. You can leave the base gasket in place The small crew on top will not give you acess to the bulb
