    vacuum was as advertized - plentiful for the job at hand - 30 feet sailing boat rudder repair. The pump is quite silent and could be left overnight in my garage with no annoyance to me and my neighboors. Beware that the inlet requires a 3/8 ID tubing, requiring some craft (extra 3/8 tubing at home depot) to connect to the vacuum tubing proposed at JD.
