West System epoxy and five minute epoxy are essential items I always have in the shop. I first was introduced to West System Epoxy when I worked for Merrill-Stevens Dry Dock as a yacht carpenter. Since I'm slowing down a bit I buy smaller quantities of their regular epoxy because it has a shelf life but the little bottles of five minute might last me a year or more without any shelf life issues.

Used up my 12 oz bottles after 10 years. Product preformed the same after 10 years of sitting around. Very good 5 min epoxy.

I use this in small quantities to attach scales to knife handles and to secure pins, holds well. You have to work fast and be very neat as you work. It sets very fast and is very sticky.
