These Ancor double male female adapters are sold in various quantities. Used for a variety of wire tapping and/or splicing applications.
Soldering should not be the sole means of mechanical connection in any circuit. If soldered, the connection should be located or supported so it minimizes flexing of the conductor, turning the flexible conductor into a solid conductor.

Used these in the switch panel for my 1988 Wellcraft. Needed multiple wire connections to certain toggle switches. Rather than splicing or other lame possible ways to connect, I used these and they are perfect. Would be better if they were brass, but these are just fine.
