Sailboat application tips
By Paul from North Beach, MD0

Stir thoroughly until mixture is finely consistent with smooth can bottom and sides. Apply to small area < 50 sf. I used a short Bristol 3" brush, 3"x6" area per paint dip. Don't worry when 1st coat appears skimpy. Takes 3 coats, 2nd coat after 2 hours, 3rd coat after 8 hours. Finish is non-skid and non-abrasive. Pulling tape after dry must be done very carefully with a utility knife handy. BE CAREFUL! If a tear occurs, you can re-tape and go back over it.

Will not buy this product again
By Lolo from Mexico

We just painted our sail boat/home from top to bottom, something that has been needed for some time. Non skid was one item on the list. We have a lot of non skid area on the deck and many things to paint around. We opened the can and the gray color was perfect, and after mixing it the texture was very nice. However, after applying it to our deck it became blotchy with rubber bits sticking up and BLACK. Not the color in the can, nor the texture I saw in the can. Where did the gray color go? Now I have a black deck that will make the inside of the boat very hot. There isn't any information that tells you the end result. When I Bought it the dealer didn't tell us it dried black. It is so horrible it makes me sick to look at my boat. I wasted my money and time on this product. It is best for a work boat or a fishing boat, but not my home.

Not quite there...
By Billy the Kid from New England

This Product is easy to apply and as used on the deck of a commercial skiff worked well up until there was a small gasoline spill... the gas bubbled this stuff off and made a mess of the surrounding area, similar to peeling latex paint on a wall. All well and good after a cleaning and reapplication... two months later an oil rag fell on deck and same thing, bubbles and failure of the nonskid. Two thumbs down. Might work well on a pool diving board but definitely not where it may encounter petroleum.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
