I ordered this hose to replace the fuel fill hose on my Alberg that failed (after 35 years - my bad). The tank is located under the cockpit with a 5 1/2 inch space between the top of the tank and the bottom of the cockpit floor. Things are further complicated by a 2 inch vertical fitting to receive the hose on top of the tank (so now we're down to 3 1/2 inches). This is a seriously heavy duty hose, but with three minutes in boiling water its flexibility does increase somewhat. However, there's no way that anyone capable of bending the hose into a 3 1/2 to 5 inch right angle turn could have arms small enough to create such an angle in the tight space of my tank. This was confirmed by a certified marine mechanic. While this is a very high quality hose, it isn't "extremely flexible."

Great item to use with gas.
