I understand what the #10 is, that's the screw size. What does the number 24 signify? And where does this indicated how long the screw is?

Answered on 05/20/2014 by RAND SIEGFRIED#10 is the size of the screw (diameter) 24 is the number of threads per inch Length of the screw would be separately indicated as 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch etc. Length is measured from under the head.
