worked well on a difficult problem

I used it on rowing scull sliding seats. It stopped the squeaking between the stainless axel-shafts and the seat. Nothing else lasts long there.

Woodworking equipment, too!

I kept a can of Sailkoat when we sold our sailboat, and I'm sure glad I did. My new hobby is woodworking and I have found it invaluable in taking care of my power equipment like table saw, jointer, bandsaw and even my lathes. In addition to its lubricating properties, the durable dry finish keeps the worm gears, on my table saw especially, from gumming up with sawdust. The finish it leaves on the the bed ways and tool rests on the lathes is smooth as silk and lasts quite a long time. I could go on, but suffice it to say I wouldn't want to be without it in my shop.

This lube is the best!

The uses for this lubricant are endless. A can of Sailkote Lube was left behind by the former owners of a sailboat I bought. I had never used it before. Now I'm hard pressed to use any other dry spray lube! Not just for sails, I've used this to free up and lubricate sticking galley drawers, door latches, sliding doors, zippers, the table top on my saw. I even sprayed my docklines where they were rubbing the boat, eliminating the noise that was keeping me up at night! Not oily, not greasy, completely invisible and dries instantly. I can promise that I will NOT be leaving MY can of Sailkote behind when I sell the boat! CAUTION: Be aware of overspray! Whatever gets on your deck/floor will be invisible and extremely slick. Ice skating on the deck while underway is not fun! (Trust me on this one)

Try it on Bikes

Since McLube works great in a salt water environment, it's no surprise it also works great on bikes. Try it on Bike chains and cables. One application lasts much longer than chain waxes and goops and truly will not collect dirt. Handle the chain without turning your hands black!
