Marine grade 18-8 stainless steel P.M. Nuts are captive nuts with a recess design. PM Nuts are square edged with a recessed camber in the center. Excellent for spots where wrenches are inaccessible or impractical. When set in a square notch, these nuts will tighten from the bolt head.

Bought these nuts to fasten two cabin bulkheads to the main cabin beam on my skiff. Plus they are always good to have when replacing a plank. Problem with these was that the 1st two I took out of the box would not thread onto the screw. I have not checked but suspect that these were threaded at 32 TPI instead of 24 TPI. The stock may have been mixed but how do you tell until you get there and it is too late? Product is ok if you get what you ordered. Good luck.
