Reviews for Blue Water Marine Mega Gloss
I purchased this brand of primer and paint to finish the deck of my charterboat. All prep work was done per the instructions. The paint flowed well enough, and coverage was good. Unfortunately, it is not durable at all in traffic areas on the deck. The paint scratches and scuffs up easily. It appears that I will have to refinish my decks again next year. Pretty dissapointed with this product.

I used this paint to cover the surfaces of a wooden darkroom style sink, that is located in a very humid area. so far the paint is holding up very well to all the mositure and chemicals.

I bought several gallons of this to paint my new boat I built. I can not be more displeased with this paint!! This paint will not flow out as advertised no matter what amount of naptha is added per the instructions! I bought Pettit EasyPoxy for my gray color and was MUCH more pleased than with this stuff. Spend the very few extra bucks and buy something better like Pettit!! Otherwise use at your own peril. I am going to contact Blue Water Marine paint and express my dissatisfaction with them as well.

I strongly recommend the directions on the can for thinning are justified. Works great "strait" for filling out defects such as furring out fiberglass seams, Or filling in the screen texture, As well surface scratches. After which when your boat is ready for painting. (Note strait does not flow) Yet its my preferred manner! Wet sand and thine it down for your finish. This is all based on rolling! Expect detail work to have a edge to it. PS My boat spends 99% of the time out of water!

I did a previous review of this paint..and felt it was pretty good, but after having watched it go to pot in past couple of months...growing mold on a southern exposure...and chalking up within 6 months of being put on... I have to say that what ever I have left over of this paint will be limited to use in the bilge or elsewhere!! Very disappointing!!

The finish is slick and durable.

This paint does not flow out at all. Stay away from it. Get any other one part marine gloss. I did roll and tip in perfect weather with two peo-ple at 10% thinning reduction. Interior semi gloss latex would do better than this stuff.

I found the product to perform as advertised. If put on an unprimed surface it will take more paint, however if primed with their primer...less paint and better surface is obtained.

Inexpensive topside paint average gloss, very thick paint. Covers well just takes a lot of paint per square foot. I would compare it to Rust-oleum gloss white, but its about twice the cost. Next time I will spend a little more and get petit.
