Taylor Made Sur-Moor Shackle Mooring Buoy

The Taylor Made Sur Moor is a regulation mooring ball with a rope nest built in cup shape at the top of the buoy. This allows the anchor shackle to nest below the buoy surface, protecting gelcoat and paint from shackle damage in light airs and wind shifts.

The cup is also a convenient nesting place for the pennant line when you depart the mooring. Its hard-skin polyethylene shell is UV protected to resist the weathering effects of sunlight, and is foam filled to positively displace water. The Sur Moor is a Tube-Through-The-Center design with blue reflective striping.
