Product Details

Aqua-Buff polishing compounds are made for heavy duty compounding and polishing applications. Use Aqua-Buff to clean heavily oxidized gel coat and topside paints, and yield a shiny polished finish.

Aqua-Buff 1000 is used in the first stage of compounding, to be followed up with 2000. Environmentally safe water-based formula means you will use half as much compound as other traditional buffing compounds and polishes. Both 1000 and 2000 come in two gallon pails.

Note: Aqua-Buff 1000W can not be used on white hulls.

Info & Guides
Spread Aqua-Buff 1000 on the surface to be compounded with a brush or cloth, several square feet at a time using one-half the normal amount and mist the surface with water. Immediately machine buff with a clean, damp compounding pad. Repeat the process to eliminate scratches from exceptionally hard surfaces. Should the compound become dry while being buffed, re-wet by misting the surface with water. Follow with Aqua-Buff 2000 compound and polish for the ultimate shine.

Best compound I've ever used
By Bristol Boatbuilder from Bristol RI

I use the 2000 as a finishing compound on every new boat that leaves the shop. It gives an unmatched gloss and mirror shine. It also saves time and money with repairs, because it easily buff's out 800 grit sand paper scratches and saves me having to use finer paper.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
