Entropy Clear Fast Hardener (CLF) is used when faster curing of bio-based Entropy Clear Laminating Epoxy Resin (CLR) or Optically Brightened Laminating Epoxy Resin (BRT) is desired or, when working in colder temperatures. The CLR epoxy system is water-clear; the BRT system is white. Both are low-viscosity, UV-stable liquid epoxies for composites, coatings & adhesive applications, and are optimized for hand lay-up, room temperature processes, or infusion laminating of wood, fibers, glass, carbon, or Kevlar. All Super Sap resins exhibit excellent air release, low color, and exceptional color and UV stability.
Use with Entropy CLR Clear Resin or bright white BRT Resin for medium pot life & low exotherm lamination & coatings. CLR and BRT resins & CLS/CLF/CLX hardeners have a bio-content greater than 30% & can be modified with epoxy compatible colorants & fillers.

Technical Information
Features of Clear Fast Hardener (CLF) Combined with Clear (CLR) or Optically Brightened (BRT) Epoxy Laminating Resin
- Fast hardener for Entropy's high-performance, CLR clear epoxy coating, or bright white BRT epoxy resin.
- Green epoxy resin with fast room temperature cure.
- Excellent composite laminating resin ideal for hand layup and vacuum bagging.
- Great for high-color applications requiring a clear, non-yellowing resin system.
- UV-stable formula with relatively low viscosity.
- First USDA BioPreferred Certified liquid epoxy resin system.
- CLF requires corresponding size of Super Sap CLR Epoxy Resin or BRT Epoxy Resin for use (2:1 ratio). See chart below.
Clear Laminating Epoxy Resin (CLR)/Clear Fast Hardener (CLF) System Best Uses
- Surfboards, SUPs (stand up paddleboards), handplanes
- Adhesives and sealants
- Fiberglass boat repair
- Clear coating applications
- Natural fiber composites
- Carbon fiber composites
- Fiberglass composites
Optically Brightened Laminating Epoxy Resin (BRT)/ Clear Fast Hardener (CLF) System Best Uses
- White surfboards
- Bright white cosmetic marine laminating applications
Safety and Handling Information
Despite the natural derivation of Entropy resin products, exposure to these materials represents hazards typical of all epoxy resins. Exposure should be minimized and avoided through the use of proper personal protective clothing & equipment, and appropriate manufacturing controls. All persons who use, store, or transport these materials should understand proper handling precautions and recommendations, as stated in the SDS (safety data sheets).

The CLX hardener would be good to have. i mix the two to adjust cure times.

this product is so easy to use, I also used the pump for the bottles and they make it so easy to measure out the proper mix. I am building wooden bait tanks to hold bait fish, I built the out of 3/4" plywood and then used Entropy CLR Clear Resin with the slow hardener. This gives you lots of time to lay your fiberglass matt down and mix more if you are running short when you add a coat to your matt. Once you paint your matt with using a short bristle brush, use a plastic spreader board to smooth out wrinkles in the matt. It will dry to a clear finish. And it is paintable.

Super Sap CL/F is an excellent system, as far as I have tested it for strength and workability in composite laminates. The only testing left to do takes time - we all know how epoxies can become brittle and weaken, especially in marine applications. It's great for now, and for the final results, we wait....
