#10 Slotted Indented Hex Washer Head self tapping screws made of 18-8 stainless steel. Sometimes called sheet metal screws or self tappers,these fasteners are common for home repairs as well as installinghardware on your boat. The integral washer provides a flat bearingsurface under the head--useful for attaching cabinet hardware such ashinges and drawer slides. The flat bearing surface allows for lateralmovement when attaching hardware (as opposed to a Flat or Oval Headthat have a countersunk bearing surface that will self-center in themounting holes).

Self Tapping screws are designed for use in sheet metal but are great for mounting hardware onto laminates wood or many other applications. Self Tapping Screws have a deep thread that goes all the way up the shank to the head. All of our Self Tappers have an A point.
