Use 3M Scotch Brite 6 Inch Scuffing Discs with a random orbital sander for faster results than hand scuffing. Scotch-Brite discs mate with a 6 inch hook and loop backing pad such as the 3M-05776.

Available in your choice of general purpose, maroon discs or ultra-fine gray scuffing discs. Maroon discs provide a fast, consistent scuff ideal for scuffing before painting and staining, and for cleaning parts. They are also used as a last step on solid surfaces to achieve a matte finish. Common applications for ultra-fine gray discs include conditioning marine, automotive and solid surface finishes.
