Not Bad
By Big Daddy from La Vernia, Tx.

I am a mechanic and have built many cars, but the first time I've worked on a boat. was disappointed that the video wasn't in the box but after watching it on you tube I pretty much got the idea.as a first time user of this product i found it easy to install, I used a 6" 1/4" extension as a guide to space the screw holes apart, then used it to open the the molding so the screw head wouldn't tear up the lip, it worked perfect. Also I used a windshield molding tool to install the lock ring and it was a breeze. the only down fall was it was smaller than what was on my boat but that was my fault for going for the cheapest part and not doing better research.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Disappointing Rub Rail.
By Mike from Charleston, SC

This is one of the smaller rub rails that Taco offers, yet you receive screws that are way too big for the rub rails. They warn about the chock of the screwdriver damaging the rub rail, but the screws are so big, they damage the rub rail every time. Then when you try to put in the insert, the damage you have already made to the exterior part of the rub rail makes it extremely difficult to install the insert. If I had to do this again, I would have bought the Tessilmare rub rail. No heating, no stretching, no exterior damage from screws.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
