Product Details

Micron CSC is a great multi-season ablative bottom paint with a copper-copolymer formula that provides controlled release of antifouling biocides at the paint surface.

The longevity of the coating depends on the amount of paint applied. CSC retains its effectiveness even when the boat is removed from the water for extended periods (winter storage, for example). To reactivate come springtime, use a stiff brush or powerwash lightly. Suitable for sailboats and power boats.

Available in Black, Blue, Green, Red, and Shark White colors in Quart and Gallon sizes. Dark Blue is available in Gallon size only.

Great product Geart customer service
By 1 from 1

First off when the paint arrived it was all over the box so i refused the order. I'm pretty sure the UPS guy let the package of paint fall and was thrown around his truck. Ahhh I called James town and let them know what happened and they shipped out a new order right away. They are awesome, and the customer support was great. I received a new package; the paint cans were still sealed and in good shape. The Antifouling bottom paint went on really nice and works great. Thank you Great job and great paint!

Good Product, Easy to Apply
By Terry from Santa Cruz

I've used Interlux Micron CSC previously and it works very well for my application. No issues with the product. Had a shipping issue: one gallon can arrived all bent to the point the lid could not be opened and closed. Jamestown was responsive and sent me an empty can to store the remainder of the paint

I would use this product
By Steve from Ann Arbor

Key to success was using a 1/8" foam epoxy roller. Do not over load the roller. Accomplished two coats on the hull of a 15 foot Boston whaler. I cut the roller in half. The consistency of the paint is somewhat gloppy if that makes sense. It does like to drip off the roller.

Product great but damaged
By KW from Machipongo, VA

Verified Purchase

Paint arrived without any obvious signs of damage to the outer package. Upon opening the package the can looked like it had been thrown from a moving vehicle. Dented to the point it would barely stand upright and leaking. Called about the situation but was only offered an empty can to put the paint in. I expected a little more considering the cost if this product. I did not pursue the issue since the job was time critical. I hope this product was not sent from the warehouse in this condition. Great product that I have used for years on commercial fishing boats just very disappointed in condition at receipt and minimal customer service response.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
