Safe to use gauge
April 27, 2015
Was not getting fuel reading on new Faria Gauge that had been installed. Bought sending unit after measuring depth of boat fuel tank and received it in a timely manner. Removed old Sending unit and installed new one....very easy install. Fuel gauge now indicates exact amount of fuel in tank. Great products from Jamestown Distributors. Would highly recommend them to anyone for boating products!

My fuel gauge on my boat was reading "empty" all the time. I knew I had plenty of fuel in the tank and that the gauge (Faria) was working properly so I figured it was the sending unit in the tank. I shopped around and found one on Jamestown Distributors website that I liked (they had many lengths to choose from depending on depth of tank)at an affordable price and bought it. It was delivered in a timely manner and was installed easily.

No swing arm which can get bent or damaged so less down time and will work much longer in my boat.

The installation was very easy. I haven't been able to test on the water due to frozen lakes but so far the sender seems to work like a charm.
