TotalBoat Milled Glass Fiber is a finely ground fiberglass that can be added to structural filleting putty, epoxy/hardener systems, and polyester resins to improve tensile strength and increase the strength of a lay up. You may add some Silica Thickener to the strengthened resin to prevent sagging and draining.
Thoroughly mix the amount of resin/hardener needed. Add the MILLED GLASS FIBER, your fiber filler, as needed to obtain the thickness you desire and mix well. The Silica Thickener may then be added. Stir ALWAYS from the bottom to the top.

Container came inside of a plastic bag, half spilled(I think they know it's an improper container and they just keep sending that way spilling a lot of the product you paid for) Needs a better lid that can securely close and open as the product is fine powder

Use as laminating agent between a smooth surface & irregular surface. You will use much more than you think to make heavy consistency.

I use this in boat restorations/repairs. I mix the milled fiber with the epoxy in various thicknesses depending on the application. I have repaired, replaced, and reinforced both interior and exterior parts, panels, deck soft spots, and various frames and members. It is excellent to use for resetting port lite openings that have had water damage from leaks. I take out the frame glass and all. cut out all rotten and damaged core and panel edge. Pack the cutout edges all the way around with a milled fiber and epoxy mix. Thicker on the top toward the opening edge so it does not drip out. After it sets hard it can be sanded to give a firm, smooth, and exacting cutout to gasket and reset the port lite. End of leaks!
