NOTE: Thixo cartridges have a slightly offset nozzle that fits most, but not all, caulk guns. Caulking applicators used with Thixo need to have a hole large enough for the mixing tip; cartridges won't fit applicators with only a small hole for the nozzle. For best results, use a caulk gun with an 8 to 1 thrust ratio or higher.

Not too thick not to thin and color perfect. Used on vertical cracks with no running. I've used a lot of different resins over the years, absolutely the easiest!

I've found a unique use for folks that are plagued by carpenter bees. As you know, these destructive insects bore a 3/8" hole into wood and can cause not only cosmetic but structural damage to homes and log cabins. This product is perfect for injecting into the bee holes; just make sure the hole has been cleaned out first and any hibernating or nesting bees are gone. Because of the product's thick consistency, it will not "run" and can easily be smoothed to be flush with the surface of the wood.

I have used quite a lot of Thixo wood epoxy. Although it is pricey for the amount of product per tube, the quality is worth the price.

The web site and different places state different directions for use. I figured go with what is on the tube, still had problems with chunks for second half of the tube. Also if you are figuring how much you need be aware this is only half as much per tube that you get from a normal caulking tube. For the price I would mix by hand next time for sure

I used Thixo Wood to repair ash gunwales on a Mad River canoe. It's about 25 years old and the original gunwales are stained dark like walnut. I spliced in a new section of ash and it had to be stained to match. Thixo filled in the gaps at the scarfs and between inwales and outwales. Good color match but smooth texture of Thixo reveals "not wood!" That's fine on a canoe of this age. Lot's left over. I mixed some on a scrap of wood and injected it into another spot on the gunwales where screws had no purchase. It's versatile stuff. But for small jobs like this I'll need to order several more mixing tips.

I made my pontoon boat deck a one piece unit with a 12" overlap between a 10' and 8' marine grade plywood. Then joined both halfs with bisquicks for 8' wide. All pieces sealed both sides with 2 coats of Totalboat penetrating epoxy.

I used this product on my 23' chinook,I needed to replace the box bilge hatch cover boards on one of deck hatches, the thixo epoxy worked great to glue the boards down, the only thing that surprised me was how hard it was getting to come out of the, I have strong hands I had to use both hands and it was barley coming out of the tube, it took longer than I thought it would, anyway it did the job.

I used Thixo Wood to fill and level water damaged, removable wood flooring in my dinghy. Sitting water after rains loosened and delaminated some of the knots in the original floor. This cause lifting of the surrounding areas. Thixo Wood performed very well, allowing excellent work time to allow working the product into the damaged areas. It's curing time was about 3 days to a better than original hardness. It sands easily and takes a primer and finish coat of Total Boat easily. Highly recommend the product and the help received from Jamestown Distributors.

I used the trick. It is cold in Ohio. I warmed up the tube before dispensing. And the application into gaps and scarfs went much faster and better than expected. And while on the edge of the temp range this morn the Thixo is setting up nicely. Very pleased.

Great for repairing rotted wood. The size of the tube is misleading though. The last third of the tube will not dispense.
