TotalBoat Seal is a fast-curing elastomeric marine sealant that adheres tenaciously to fiberglass, wood, metal, glass, Starboard & vinyl. It creates a highly elastic waterproof seal ideal for bedding hardware, windshields, and portholes, as well as flush & overlapping joints. Once cured, Seal is paintable and sandable.
Seal is highly UV stable and will not sag on vertical surfaces. It boasts superior properties over most leading sealants including strength, adhesion, elongation, and shelf life. For use above and below the waterline. Do not use on wood deck seams.
Available in White only. Choose from a 3 oz. tube, 10 oz. cartridge, or 6-pack of 10 oz. cartridges. Cartridges fit standard 290ml caulk guns.
Important: TotalBoat Seal is designed for bedding and sealing, and does not have the strength properties of bonding adhesives.

Rebedded 4 engine room ventilation covers, each approx 4' x 1'. Did all 4 and saved the edge finishing for last, but lost the "clean edge" look because the sealant started setting up. Recommend Totalboat provide specific guidance on allowable time to complete the "finish edge" work after dispencing. Would certainly help those doing larger projects.

This stuff starts setting and becomes unworkable in an extremely short time, about 5 seconds out of the nozzle. And that was not even on a hot day for my area, and indoors in a garage. I'll wait and see how it lasts in Southeast Texas heat and sun before I give it a total thumbs-down, but based on application alone, I will not be buying it again nor recommending it.

Might be better if a pro used this. It flashes off so quickly.

Bought 2 tubes. 1st tube kept pumping out caulk even when out of gun. 2 nd tube was fine. Have used this the past few yrs. Works great.

I used this TotalBoat Seal to afix my cover board on my center board trunk. I had used some sort of silicon previously and had some water splashing through in rough seas.I didn't want to use 5200 as I feared it would be too permanent. In truth, I haven't tried to remove the cover board and hope to not need to anytime soon but it applied nice and neat and somehow I didn't get it all over myself which is pretty much SOP with 5200, Ha!

I used this to re-bed the glass on an aluminum frame diamond sea glaze window. It bonded exceptionally to the frame and the glass.
